"It means a lot to me and my unit."

Hello Mrs. Murphy and everyone from The Hugs Project,

I got the letter from Mrs. Murphy and also the one with everyone signatures. I first want to say thank you for everyone that helped in making these care packages and sending them to us It means a lot to me and my unit.
Secondly I'd like to personally respond to Mrs. Murphy's letter:
Hello!
I am Specialist Fredrick C. from Task Force Hellhound. I am 27 years old and am currently in my 3rd year serving in the Army. I have been married for a year and a half and I have a doggy at home too! I miss them a lot!
Winter is almost upon us; how is Indiana during the winter time? Our home base is in Clarksville, Tennessee, it snows there once it starts hitting late December and January. I was raised in Miami, Florida so as you can guess I hate the cold! But with that being said I'm not immune to the heat, and over here in Kuwait it is soooooo HOT; it's like 110~ degrees in the daytime. It's pretty dreadful. But that's basically the only negative here. This base is actually very nice and tries its best to cater to us to make us as comfortable as possible; and since it's not in a current combat zone we can freely wear civilian clothing when we are off duty. There's a bunch of reserves(from all the branches) and National Guard here actually! That's crazy how most of your family has served! That's incredible. I'm actually the first one in my family that's served in the United States military. My father and uncle were forced to serve in the Military back in Cuba so I'm not sure that counts since they don't give you a choice.
My brother is a contract nurse so he travels all over the United States to different hospitals for half a year then moves on or extends his contract.
That's so funny that your granddaughter wants to play darts because at our workplace we have a dart board too! That's all we play here in our free time. I'm not very good at it though xD.
Thank you all so much for your letters and sending the care packages. Mrs. Murphy's letter was the only personalized letter I found. I hope I didn't miss any other ones.
