I found a handwritten card from Mrs. Murphy in one of our old care package boxes and wanted to reach out to say thank you! I also wanted to give you a little idea of what your care packages do for us here.

This package in particular came to JSMART which is part of Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay. JSMART is where the psych techs work and our main role on this mission is outreach. We have a "swag room" dedicated to all of the Warfighters full of hygiene items, snacks, and specialty items that come out of the JSMART budget. When Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, or Coasties rotate out of GTMO, some of them donate gently used items to the swag room as well- a pay it forward of sorts.

Packages like yours help us supply the Warfighters with wants and needs. All items are greatly appreciated!! Thank you so much for taking the time and dedication to commit to putting these packages together for folks like us.

I am leaving next week to return home to my wife (!!!!), but JSMART will continue. If you'd like to continue sending the packages I have placed the address below!
