Greetings from Germany and many parts of Africa.

I am writing this email on behalf of the Marines I am sharing your care packages with. Words cannot begin to describe how appreciative we are for your generous donations. The items we received have boosted morale around the camps and are building relationships with others we serve along side of as we are sharing items with them as well. Small things like care packages make a huge difference while deployed. It can turn many attitudes from poor to great and it can enhance relationships around the camp/base, and it is doing exactly that. The packages are a little taste from back home.

We are now in a smooth rhythm thus far on this deployment and most us have a solid routine where it makes the days go by a little faster, so it seems. The temperatures are slightly dropping in all the locations, so working outside isn’t too unbearable on most days now. Our bodies are acclimating to the terrain, elevation, weather, and food.

It was nice to read a little about you and to build some rapport and respect for your unselfishness. I hope our sincere letter is as heartfelt to you as you care packages were to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for all the support and all that you have done for us.

SSgt Daniel H. and the Marines of Team ------- Battalion.
